Today’s prompt in “21 days in my art world” is to show a current work in progress! I typically work on more than one painting at a time, because I either get bored, didn’t think it all way through before I started, I just don’t like what I’m seeing, or sometimes I just get waylaid by another Painting I need to start.  In this case, I’ve painted a scene like this before since I paint a lot of Orange Beach sunrises. And I’m not sure why I haven’t finished this one because it is so close to being finished. I kept changing a few things because I don’t stick to the photograph - the photograph is just a starting point for me. Sometimes when you start changing things you need to think them through a little more than I did! Remember yesterday‘s blog about thinking it through before you start, this is a perfect example of that!! Once my broken arm is healed I will go back and finish this one first. Stay tuned for the final version in probably another 4 to 6 weeks!
