Art Stimulates Good Memories
One of the things I love about travel is looking for the right photo to take that will remind me of the great trip - the fun we had, the things we do. And if I am very lucky, I will be able to recreate that memory by creating a painting.
When I listen to people at art shows, talking about the art, the things I consistently hear is how the painting takes them back to a time they loved, or a place they loved, or they have that special feeling again that that location evoked.
As an artist, one of the things I want to do is help people take that step back in time to a special trip or a special place that made them feel happy. I know some of my own paintings do that for me!
